Organize Mapathon

Your benefits

  • Experience a change of perspective.
  • Commit yourself to an inclusive society.
  • Discover new places in your city or community.

How does a Mapathon work?

A mapathon is a recording campaign in which acquaintances, families or teams travel around a municipality or city to collect information about the accessibility of cafés, restaurants or pharmacies with Ginto. Mapathons can be organized and run on your own or with our support.

What do I have to consider when organizing a Mapathon?

Cities are particularly suitable for Mapathons because they have a high density of publicly accessible buildings such as cafés, restaurants or pharmacies. These locations can be visited and recorded spontaneously. Please contact the personnel on site before any recording and only carry out the recording with their consent.

A measure for inclusive cities and events

A Mapathon can also be used as a strategic measure by associations, municipalities or events to ensure comprehensive collection of information on accessibility in a region or at a venue. We would be happy to assist you in planning and carrying out a large-scale recording campaign.
