Extend your booking and search platform with information on the accessibility of venues, hotels and other locations.
Ginto bundles objective information on the accessibility of locations, leisure and mobility offers. Much of the information comes from established platforms such as FIRST from Pro Infirmis and has been fully migrated to Ginto. A further part of the information was collected by the localities themselves or by volunteers. Accessibility information includes objective criteria for the accessibility of areas and trails. This includes, for example, information on door widths, elevators or special offers for people with disabilities. The criteria were harmonized and standardized together with partners.
The information on Ginto is available free of charge to all operators of booking and search platforms for non-commercial use via open source. Smaller platforms can manually integrate the information via a web link per location. This link can be generated via the web map or the app. The free Ginto interface is recommended for larger platforms. The information can be embedded in search filters or detailed entries, for example. The display of accessibility information can be individually defined — from the display of the web link to detailed information to standardized pictograms. We are happy to help you embed and visualize the accessibility information on your platform in an appropriate way.
Through an interface to Ginto, you automatically become part of a strong network. Relevant search and booking platforms from the hotel, catering and events sectors, such as Hinto.net, guidle.com or discover.swiss, obtain their information from Ginto. By the way, the accessibility information is not only important for people with disabilities: It is also useful in the event of an injury, a bike ride on an e-bike or a trip with heavy luggage. With accessibility information, you can offer your target group an important service while reaching out to new target groups.
