Make special offers visible
The Cerebral Foundation offers special offers throughout Switzerland, such as ice gliders or all-terrain electric wheelchairs for people with disabilities. These offers can now also be found in the Ginto database.
Leisure activities for everyone
More than 170 partner organisations of Cerebral Foundation offer unique offers for people with disabilities throughout Switzerland: all-terrain electric wheelchairs, special kayaks, ice gliders and barrier-free rental vehicles. This makes leisure activities such as hiking or ice skating accessible to everyone. This project will raise the profile of the Cerebral Foundation’s specialist services even further.
To this end, Ginto was first expanded to include new criteria for recording these services. The existing data on lending locations and services, which had previously been available on the Cerebral MAP , was then imported into Ginto. Finally, all partner organisations of the Cerebral Foundation were asked to use Ginto to record and publish detailed information on the accessibility of their premises and their special services.

Partnership-based action
With projects like this, Ginto aims to combine existing accessibility information in a central database. In this way, forces can be pooled and synergies can be used.
By collecting and publishing accessibility information, tourism businesses can also participate in the OK:GO initiative participate. In doing so, they make an effective and at the same time cost-effective contribution to the inclusion of people with mobility restrictions and thus to social sustainability.
